Second shoot: Vegas Valentine's

Our second shoot as a class was Valentine's Day in Vegas, specifically focusing on weddings. I think we all got some very interesting shots, despite some opposition from a lot of places and people. I chose to go on this assignment on my own however, and here is some of what I came up with.

Little Church of the West, which is actually on the historic register. Thank goodness, they won't blow it away!

Here is the second one: Vegas Wedding Flowers. Can you get more 'Vegas' than that? Neon and lights?

It's hard to see, but her face there in the window might be the heart and soul
of this photo. I tried the 'pastel effect', as I call it. Do you like this one?

More mannequins.

Something about a mannequin standing there in the window in a wedding dress caught my eye.

I really like this one, I call it "the Green Bride.' There's just something sort of melancholy or mysterious about it that I like. It must be seen in its largest size, otherwise the effect is lacking.

Here she is in all her glory: technical difficulties, will be up shortly. Thanks for your patience.
